Lisburn man begins new ministry in Salford

REV Alan R Kennedy B.Ed, B.D. was Inducted as the new minister of Walkden Congregational Church, Salford, in Greater Manchester on St Patrick's Day earlier this year.
His parents travelled from Hillsborough to be with him on the day and his brother Philip travelled from Maidstone in Kent. He was brought up in Sloan Street Presbyterian Church Lisburn and trained for the Christian Ministry under the auspices of the Presbytery of Antrim of the Nonsubscribing Presbyterian Church of Ireland.
He had previously served churches in Bolton, London, Hyde, Liverpool
and Newcastle upon Tyne.
