CASTLE Gardens plays host to three days of entertainment and family activities organised by Lisburn City Centre Management, Lisburn Road Safety Committee, Mollys Parlour and ATLASnext weekend.

Saturday July 28 sees the reorganised Outdoor Adventure Fun Day and Family Cycle Ride. As part of the event, Castle Gardens will host a range of activities from 10am-4pm including a Farmers Market, children's cycle skills, mini highland games, a climbing wall, face painters, music and various outdoor displays.

Karen Mawhinney from Tricycle, who will be leading the family cycle ride, commented cycling is a great family activity and this cycle ride is great for building confidence and exploring the cycle routes we have on our doorstep. The cycle ride departs from Castle Gardens at 10am, head out along the Towpath and returns at 12 when the activities will be in full swing.' Sunday July 29 is Movie Madness in the Marquee with three screenings during the day in a pop up cinema with a twist — you have to bring your own seat!

Matinee

At 1pm is the family matinee The Lion King with a face painter before and during the screening. At 4pm it's the afternoon comedy Blazing saddles and at 7pm The Commitments with a karaoke twist during the movie.

Entrance fee is just £2 for kids and £4 for adults and there will be a coffee/tea dock and snacks available to buy (or you can bring your own snacks) as well as other activities throughout the day. For tickets contact mollysparlour@hotmail.co.uk /mollysparlour on facebook or call 07703609959.
