A LISBURN woman who is a member of the official Elvis Presley Fan Club of Northern Ireland has dedicated a room in her house to the King.

Fans all over the world marked the 35th anniversary of Elvis' death on Thursday (August 16) and Helen Moore was delighted at being able to welcome other fans to her house for an evening of music and Elvis chat.

Helen says that the fan club would love to welcome new members from Lisburn. "We meet every first Friday in the month at Cooke Rugby Club at Shaws Bridge. We hold a full Elvis disco at 8pm and we also have stalls with Elvis memorabilia."

If you would like to know more about the fan club, which is non profit making, then please contact Helen on 07837787287 or come along to Cooke Rugby Club on September 7. Dress code is smart casual.
