YEAR 14 GCE Applied Business students recently presented a cheque and received recognition from Northern Ireland Children's Hospice after organising a Quiz night on their behalf.
The Quiz was accompanied with a raffle and a brief auction.
This proved to be very successful with four Ulster Rugby tickets going for £105. The night was attended by family members and staff of Laurelhill Community College. As a result of a fantastic night, the event team were able to raise a phenomenal £1,338. Head of Senior College, Mrs Gillis commented: "The team worked well together which cumulated in a hugely successful event, raising much needed funds for Northern Ireland Children Hospice, a remarkable achievement."
