Lisburn School of Music hits high notes

Lisburn Mayor Alderman Leathem, School Principal Stephen McLoughlin and School Administrator Aileen McGarrigle with graduates of Lisburn School of Music Summer 2012

ON Monday August 20 in Lisburn Elim Church the latest batch of Lisburn's musical talent was presented with certificates for their exam success. Following fantastic performances by Zoe McLoughlin (piano), Chantelle McAteer (vocals), Poppy Laverty (piano) and Jenny Fitzsimmons (harp) Lisburn School of Music Principal Stephen McLoughlin congratulated all the students on their exam success during what was the busiest and most successful exam session in the history of the school - a credit to both the students and the teachers.

Lisburn Mayor Alderman William Leathem kindly presented the certificates, and also congratulated the students, old and young. Alderman Leathem also thanked the school of music for their input to the community of Lisburn.
