LOUISE McCorry, 22, is a student doctor. She studies medicine in Dundee and hopes to embark on a four month elective to Malawi next year. The Glenavy girl will be hosting a number of fundraising events to raise money for her time in Africa.

What do you like doing on your day off?
I like to meet my friends for coffee and go shopping.

If you were to choose your favourite meal what would it be, where and why?
I love Indian food. There is an Indian restaurant in Carryduff that I like to go to because the food is gorgeous and the staff are very good.

What has been your proudest moment?
Going to medical school. I didn't choose the right A-levels and ended up having to take the long route into medicine.

What was the most frightening moment of your life?
The minutes before my driving test.

How would you describe your taste in clothes?
Eclectic - I follow fashion trends and wear what I like. My friend Naomi is great at picking clothes for me.

What would you do if you won a million pounds?
I'd buy a plot of land for my parents to build a house and I'd get my boyfriend a new car. I would have to be charitable too.

What was your most embarrassing moment?
Doing my first intimate medical examination and having to act confident.

What music do you like?
I love rock mostly. U2, Snow Patrol and Razorlight are my favourite bands.

What sports person do you most admire?
Ronaldinho who plays for Barcelona.

Describe your best ever holiday. What would your dream holiday be?
I am just back from inter-railing around Italy with my boyfriend and I would say that was my best holiday. The food was fantastic and it was really good craic.

What is your greatest remaining ambition?
To become a successful doctor and work for 'Doctors without Borders'.

If you could spend a day with a celebrity whom would you choose?
Angelina Joile - I think she is a great person and very kind. She makes an excellent Goodwill Ambassador for the UN Refugee Agency.

If you were stranded on a desert island what three things would you want with you?
Music, chocolate and my boyfriend Owen.
