ST. JOSEPH'S clinched their third win from three starts in division 4 of the All County League against a strong St.Brigid's side at Chapel Hill last Sunday.

The visitors opened the scoring with a point. The locals showed they wanted to keep their unbeaten start to the league when Ronan Hamill showing he has still has that scoring touch planted a beauty between the posts.

Michael McCourt showed a bit of class when he scored a well take goal but St.Bride's came back with a point. Stephen Daley in the Glenavy goal was once again up to the challenge with at least three brilliant saves. Michael McCourt took a point from a free. Back came the Belfast side with a pointed free and one from play. Ronan Hamill finished the first half scoring wit a point.

Michael McCourt got the first two second half points form frees. Ronan Hamill added a point before Michael McCourt showed his accuracy when he scored from a free. Stephen Daley kept the visitors at bay with some top class saves and restricted the Malone Road side to a solitary second half point. Neill Scullion got in on the scoring act with a well worked goal and Tony McDermott finished the scoring with a point to leave the final score 2.8 v 0.5 in the Chapel Hill sides favour.
