Fiona Healy from Lisburn (left) and NI Energy's Michelle Rice are getting into the festive mood with some Christmas shopping after Fiona won £100 to spend on Christmas decorations as part of NIE Energy's direct debit promotion. |
IT is certainly the season of giving for local energy provider NIE Energy as they gave one lucky customer £100 to spend on Christmas decorations for their home.
After signing up to pay for her bills by direct debit, Fiona Healy from Lisburn was entered into NIE Energy's monthly prize draw and was drawn as the winner of this festive prize. Having just recently moved home and with lots of Christmas shopping to be done, Fiona was delighted with her prize. Fiona said: "Moving into a new house meant new decorations for the Christmas tree and thanks to NIE Energy, I have that sorted.
"Signing up to NIE Energy's direct debit couldn't have been easier. It was a fantastic option as I knew I could make great savings."
Michelle Rice from NIE Energy added: "Paying by direct debit means savings for our customers. Choose to pay by monthly direct debit and you can get up to 4% discount on your electricity bills. That's a saving of up to £40 per year.
"Direct debit enables customers to spread the cost over the course of the year, taking into consideration possible seasonal changes in usage. We debit the same amount each month giving customers more control."
