A LISBURN woman recently held a fundraising night to raise money for Clic Sargent after the charity helped her little brother who was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphomo in 2009.

Jamie-Lee Nethercott-Hall's brother TJ is now 11 and in remission after a long battle and bouts of chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments.

To raise money Jamie-Lee organised a social evening in Derriaghy Cricket Club. She explained: "Myself and my family wanted to give something back to the charity and also to help other families going through a similar thing.

"I managed to raise £546.55 which was great. I would like to say a big thank you to all the people who turned up to support me and also the following for donating raffle prizes: Something Simple coffee shop, Smyth Pattersons, Joe Mowberry at the Washington restaurant Belfast, Jenny's Cupcakes, Belfast, Alan Hawthrone, Noel Burns, John at the Chelsea Wine Bar, Cutters Restaurant, Derriaghy Cricket Club, the Bow Street Rollers Lisburn and Phillip Nickelson."
