Local girls in Miss Northern Ireland final

Finola Guinanne and Kelly-Louise Flynn's dreams of becoming the new Miss Northern Ireland have gone a step further at Drumbo Park Greyhound Stadium.

TWO young women have taken a step closer to becoming the new Miss Northern Ireland after winning top titles in the local heat at Drumbo Park last Wednesday night.

Finola Guinanne, a 21-yearold student, was named Miss Drumbo Park while Lisburn hairdresser Kelly-Louise Flynn, also 21, claimed the Miss Lisburn City crown. During a glittering heat at the plush venue last Wednesday hundreds of guests saw the girls fight off tough competition from 19 other contestants to go forward to the grand finale on June 13.
